We offer free tutoring for adult learners who want to strengthen their reading, math, and English language skills — whether you are just getting started or picking things up again after time away.

Everyone deserves a second, third, and fourth chance. At OC Literacy, there is no judgment here — only support, respect, and people who believe in you.

Tutoring usually happens one or two times a week in public, welcoming locations such as local libraries and community spaces. Our volunteer tutors work with you to build lessons around your goals, your life, and what matters most to you. We don’t expect you to fit into a program — we shape the program around you.

If you want to read more confidently, improve your math, prepare for a test, or simply feel more comfortable using English, we will walk alongside you and look for ways to help you succeed.
