OC Literacy is a grassroots organization in its early stages, built with and for the community. As we grow, our ability to serve adult learners depends on volunteers who support our work in many ways.
Other Ways to Volunteer
In addition to tutoring, we are actively seeking volunteers to support the organization in the following areas:
Fundraising & Development
Help with donor outreach, event planning, grant research, or fundraising strategy. These roles play a critical part in sustaining free programs for adult learners.
Finance & Oversight
Support budgeting, financial review, and nonprofit compliance. Volunteers with financial or organizational experience help ensure transparency, accountability, and long-term stability.
Social Media & Outreach
Assist with sharing program updates, promoting volunteer opportunities, and strengthening community connections through social media and digital outreach.
These roles are vital to the health of the organization and allow OC Literacy to remain accessible, responsible, and community-centered.
